Spiced Tea

Spiced Tea

I read an interesting article yesterday sent to my inbox - the Robert Genn newsletter.  Basically the article talked about the art of fishing and how it parallels to painting-it takes a long time to really understand what it is all about and to acquire the necessary skills.  It requires patience and more patience...a constant trying and working to really understand the craft...got my Munsell book today.  Looking forward to sharing more of those insights with you....

Blessings and thanks for visiting my site!

  1. Hey Judy, what book on Munsell did you get? I am interested in reading more and took a workshop with Carol Marine last year where she talked briefly about this color wheel. Love your new small paintings and am enjoying seeing them more often!

  2. Hello Denise
I hope this post answers your question. I paid under $10.00 for this book however I am not sure you actually need it. it's basically as I said pushing your compliments. I've been trying to keep my colors a bit cleaner and the experimenting is doing me some good. I have also pulled some colors off my palette. Good luck with that!

  3. Also.....Harley Brown wrote about this in his book. So if you have that-that's probably all you need.

    Take care!
